SITE  REQUIREMENTS

The land space for such a project requires approximately the following qualities:-

1. High range for Atlantic winds.

2. Inclines for optimal solar energy, south facing..

3. Large main building and outer buildings for school purposes, accommodating between 117 & 150 children.

4. Nature sensitive buildings and eco-residences for staff  including retreat spaces.

5. Land and Centre buildings to be held in trust. Avoids ownership obstacles whilst protecting by law the land from government requisition e.g. road development, mineral rights. Each new inheriting generation bequeathes it to the subsequent ones.

6. Lecture rooms for visiting speakers. Possibility of running adult education courses at weekends and during holidays these would cover a variety of ecological and holistic topics similar to the Schumacher College as well as allowing others who wish to establish other centres in other regions to study the running of the Centre.

An on site healing clinic providing space for children, facilitators and guests, to include an Electro Magnetic Field balancing dome.

An amphitheatre for musical performances, plays etc.
